On our first visit to Mellerstain, we met with Lindsey to talk through the options available to us. After this meeting, we felt assured that Lindsey and Mellerstain could give us the wedding we dreamt of.

Lindsey was well organised and had contacts with all the service providers that we needed, caterers, marquee hire, florists, musicians and, most importantly, the minister! She helped to provide a team that we had great confidence in. When needed, she would contact them directly to make sure all eventualities had been considered and planned for.

This took a lot of the stress away from James and I, and left us to enjoy the whole process. She found the balance of offering advice and ideas, and letting us know it was our day, and we could depend on her to arrange as much or as little as we wanted. My family live abroad and my husband works off shore, so having a friendly voice to help me with the organisation was invaluable. We always felt that everything was under control.

On our wedding day, Lindsey worked hard behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. She was even involved in the surprise appearance of my brother from Australia, who I had thought was not going to make the wedding. Lindsey was truly a pleasure to work with, and although a cliché, really did make our wedding at Mellerstain the best day of our lives. We often reminisce about the day and still can’t believe how lucky we were to have all our friends and family present in one beautiful place to enjoy the day.
